The employees were interested, I was really nervous the doctors were helping me to relax. I was not faced with a problem about English, there was not any question left in my mind. I had my surgery with Aktif at vital hospital with Dr Ibrahim Agackiran on the 4th of July 2023. Dr Ibrahim is great, seems to know what he’s doing and is very professional. The surgery went well, and I’m currently down 7 kg in 1 week!! Here are some pros and cons of the surgery and some things to think about if you want to have the surgery. Pros: +The surgeons/doctors at the facility are very professional and good at their job. +The guide/translator Luca was great, super nice and helpful. +I feel great after the surgery but it's a huge adjustment. +They’ve been very helpful at answering all my questions now afterwards and they are quick to reply to you. Cons: - Most of the nurses at the facility don’t speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them but they are very friendly and try their best to help you. -I wasn't given proper info/instructions about my medications (especially the blood thinner syringes I had to give myself). I had to kinda figure it out on my own. I wish they would have shown me how to do it while I was at the hospital. -I wasn’t told how to properly care for the wounds/incisions after the surgery so two of them are infected now. I tried to care for them to the best of my ability and they will hopefully clear out in a couple of days with the antibiotics. -Doctors in Sweden don’t want to help me as much now because I’ve had surgery abroad.

Very satisfied with the service. Special thanks to my surgeon Mr. Balta. He was very calm and professional throughout the whole process. Apart from his expertise, he definitely knows everything about patient psychology.

I have recently had 2 Alcon Panoptix trifocal lenses fitted in my eyes along with 5 tooth implants. The service given by SAM patient services was of the highest calibre. Everything was done seamlessly. The surgeons were excellent and I felt at ease the whole time. I would recommend these to anyone.

Communication with the clinics united team from just enquiring to after surgery is second to none! Amazing! They are there every step of the way. The girls are so so lovely. The hospital staff and the driver are all so lovely my husband was with me and received communication and meals and a bed to be near me at all times. My surgeon prof dr Erol Dimereson is a very kind and reassuring man. His assistant (sorry don't know his name) is fantastic with his post op care always checked on me several times a day and even visited me at the hotel once I left the hospital. He is brilliant. Thank you to all the team who took care of me.!

Can not fault bridge health travel at all! Had my gastric sleeve on 10/1/2023 after irem being recommended to me and I'm so glad I did! I was anxious excited, nervous scared every emotion you can think of but was really kept at ease the whole time and after surgery the care was incredible, anything I needed was given! I have just had my 2nd surgery at Kolan International Hospital Istanbul. The coordinator Fatih Ozturk is amazing at what he does. He went above and beyond his duty to make sure my experience went as smoothly as possible. My 1st surgery was MGB.and changed my life for the better. I have just had a gallbladder and bilestone removal also performed by professor Bora Koc. I would of had to wait for endless months in pain in the UK. Again the treatment was of an exceptional standard all orchestrated by Fatih Ozturk. All transfers are in luxury vehicles with A.C. Dr Mani and the team are amazing, from the driver to the drs. The team speak fluent English and are very efficient. I got the gastric balloon fitted. The clinic is very clean, and the staff is lovely. You are in safe hands, Dr Mani cares about his patients alot, and keeps lines of communication open at all times, checking in with you to see how you are etc. Highly recommend this clinic.
